About iTech Level

iTech Level is an independent buying-guide site that helps people answer one question: is this worth it?

What we cover

We focus on gaming and everyday laptops, headphones and earbuds, plus some tablets and accessories. We cover flagship products and the cheaper alternatives, because the expensive option often isn’t the one most people need.

How we evaluate products

We don’t test most of the products we cover. Our guides are built from manufacturer specs and from tests and reviews published by others, and we link those sources so you can check them. Our slogan is “Specs, not hype”, and we look at four things:

  • What the specs mean for you. Two laptops can both say RTX 5060 and run it at very different power limits. We explain the differences that change what you get.
  • Price against value. How does it compare with alternatives at similar and lower prices?
  • Who it’s for. We name the buyer it suits and who should skip it.
  • Real trade-offs. We name the flaws that matter and when they aren’t deal-breakers.

If a guide does include our own measurements, it will say exactly what we measured and how. How we choose products has the full process.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help research and draft our guides, and our videos use synthetic voices and some AI-generated scenes. A person decides what we cover and reads every guide before it goes live. We check specs and claims against the sources we link, but mistakes can slip through, so please tell us if you spot one.

How we make money

iTech Level is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We also earn commissions from other retailers and brands through the CJ and Impact affiliate networks. When you buy through one of these links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

That gives us a reason to favour products that pay us, so here’s our rule: we don’t accept paid placements, sponsored content, or products in exchange for positive coverage, and commissions don’t decide our picks.

How to contact us
